Hello everyone,

Truth Unearthed will be getting an early e-release on Kindle, Apple Books, and Nook this coming Saturday, December 15, 2018. A Kobo version will also be released as soon as we can navigate their setup process.

We are currently working with our printer, trying to finalize everything and hope to have paperback and hardback editions ready to go by February at the latest, assuming we don't run into any hiccups.

If you are a bookstore owner and seeking to stock Tales of Lugon novels, they are in the Ingram catalog for a great wholesale discount.

Well, this is certainly not an announcement I wanted to make.

Truth Unearthed will indeed be releasing on December 15 across all major eReader platforms. However, due to my final editor failing to meet his contractual obligations, there are some known grammatical and spelling errors (it was looked at by other editors, but the proofreader was supposed to have finished over a week ago, and has now said it will not be until Friday, Dec. 14 – and the stores require the release version be submitted more than 72 hours prior to release, which ends in 9 minutes as I type this).

Within 72 hours of release, I will be updating the file to fix the issues found by my proofreader. I cannot express how profoundly sorry I am that the book will not be up to the standards I desire it to be for those who preordered. I sought to delay the launch, but there are stiff penalties for doing so after preorders have already been placed.

In the future, I will not place a book for pre-order until I have the final copy in hand. This was always supposed to be a one-time thing – I was trying to release my first book on the first anniversary of my Dad’s passing – and now I can assure you it will be. I did not expect a professional editing company that signed a contract with me to first falsely advertise their speed and then secondly miss even the later agreed upon and contracted deadline. I’ve learned a hard lesson, and I’m afraid you, my first readers who I want to impress more than any to come, will be punished for my naivete.

Thank you again for your support. By all means, if you feel no rush to read the book, feel free to wait until after the first update is released a few days later. It will be more in line with the quality I hoped to deliver initially. If you have not already, sign up for my newsletter at http://talesoflugon.com/truth-unearthed/ and you will be emailed when the fully proofed version is available.
